Limitations

The division of the archaeological records into specific modules facilitates an easier system design and introduces limitations.

Naturally, some queries are awkward or impossible to implement with this design (e.g., all beads regardless of material, all pottery from a specific structure, and artifacts made from multiple materials).

A partial solution to these issues is the implementation of an easy to use of query builder and allowing users to easily modify and run their queries.
